Wazazzi (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is an AI-powered parenting assistant designed to help families manage school, sports, and activity communications more efficiently. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, how Gmail data is accessed and handled, and your rights and choices.

2. Information We Collect

A. Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Authentication credentials through Supabase or Google OAuth
• Family profile information you voluntarily provide

B. Connected Email Accounts (Gmail / Outlook)

If you choose to connect your email account, Wazazzi may access:

• Email metadata, such as sender, subject, and date
• Email content necessary to extract school or activity-related information
• Thread identifiers for replying
• Basic message headers

We do not access or process emails unrelated to school, child, or family activities when Strict Allowlist mode is enabled.

We do not access attachments unless required to extract relevant activity details.

C. Calendar Data

If you enable calendar integration, we may create calendar events, read events necessary to avoid conflicts, and update events you authorize.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to identify school and activity-related communications, extract actionable information such as events, deadlines, and RSVPs, create calendar events and tasks, generate daily and weekly summaries, draft replies at your request, and improve product functionality.

We do not sell your data, share your personal emails with advertisers, or use Gmail data for advertising purposes.

4. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

Wazazzi’s use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

• We only use Gmail data to provide user-facing features within Wazazzi.
• We do not transfer Gmail data to third parties except as necessary to operate our services, such as secure cloud hosting.
• We do not use Gmail data for advertising.
• We do not allow humans to read user Gmail content unless required for security, required by law, or explicitly authorized by the user.

5. Data Storage & Security

• All data is encrypted in transit using TLS.
• Sensitive tokens, including OAuth refresh tokens, are encrypted at rest.
• Access to production systems is restricted.
• We use secure infrastructure providers.

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide services or comply with legal obligations.

6. Email Processing Controls

You control how your email is processed. You may enable or disable Strict Allowlist mode, specify approved domains, disconnect your email account at any time, and delete your account and associated data.

When you disconnect your email source, Wazazzi stops accessing that account immediately.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

We may share data with infrastructure providers, analytics providers using aggregated non-personal data only, and law enforcement if required by law.

8. Data Deletion

You may delete specific data within your account, disconnect email integrations, or request full account deletion.

To request deletion, contact info@wazazzi.com.

Upon account deletion, OAuth tokens are revoked, stored email-derived data is deleted, and associated family data is removed.

9. Children’s Privacy

Wazazzi is intended for use by parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental involvement.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

11. SMS Consent Terms

If you enable SMS notifications, message frequency may vary and message/data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out and HELP for support.
